About Us

OUR START

We are family owned business out of Riverside California. We started during the early 1990's at a time when we was working out of our garage, just like HP and Apple. We struggled to get our own warehouse (which now we own), but we believed that things can get better and they did.

Originally, we started out as a custom software development company. Developing several software packages for the local businesses in the Los Angeles and Riverside County area. We developed one of the first database and networked technologies software to handle client/server applications. We developed software for local video stores, churches, and private schools. Our software handled all of their entire database and networking needs. Back then it was harder because we had to develop all of the software technologies by hand there was no easy solution that fit the needs our clients and we had it. Also the software back then was not bulky and didn't need hundreds of Megabytes in order to operating properly. Now software is bulky and sometimes unusable for most people needs. So we made things a lot easier for our customers and that's what we specialize in (and still do).

At this time in the computer industry custom software is not needed. So we had to change our services and business model. The industry went to the bulky software packages of today and our services have to change with the times. We decided, since the CEO was a Computer Engineer and we have been working with customers on technical and networking support issues. We switched to a technical support and sales business model, which has been changing with times also. We are now having more fun with sales, technical support, and still providing excellent service. Why do we say that? Because we get to talk to a more of a variety of new customers and advise them on their next purchase and we are good at it. Most customers call us back and tell our sales team “Thanks.” Also we never left our love, which is customization of networked systems.

With more than 950,000 SKUs, Tek Buyz has a large inventory of CPUs, monitors, Notebook computers peripherals and software to meet your company's needs. Our purchasing and sales departments are alert to current market trends and prices and our large inventory allows us to secure the best prices from our suppliers. And, because we are independently owned, we do not pay royalties or product fees to any franchise or organization. The result is a lower acquisition cost, which we pass on as savings to our customers.

Our Managers keep themselves informed on the latest technological innovations and are available for product recommendations and demonstrations. Also on board is a pool of qualified consultants and training companies ready to offer almost any kind of assistance from a customized software solution for your unique business needs to integrated network support. We have built strategic alliances within our industry that cover areas such as real estate, advanced desktop publishing, law and CAD, among others.

SALES STAFF

We have one of the best sales staff in the industry. Each of sales staff personnel must have over 5 years in the industry and have the experience get the job done. Our sales staff attends weekly sales training on new products and if we don't know that answer to a question, we can get it for you and not keep you on hold for 20 minutes. Also our staff attends company product line training by companies with release of new and great products. None of our sales staff will let you down and that's a promise.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT STAFF

We provide technical support service to all of customers from a technical staff second to none. Every technician has over 5 years of experience and they have all required industry standard certifications. We perform service calls on-site; customer can bring in the system, or mail the system to us. Our Service Department has a motto to “Get all system working and out in 24 hours or less.” Well how can do that, because we have a very knowledgeable staff. We also have a database of technical support issues online and all customers can view it for FREE. We also provide remote repair services so you don't have leave your house, business, nor bring in a bulky item in and wait for the repair. What so different about us from other service providers, well we started the flat rate repair system and others have copied us, but still can't quite get it. Other service providers still try to squeeze an hourly rates out of you, but we don't. You will never be surprise after a service is done.

NETWORK SERVICES

While technology has allowed many people to work outside their offices, there are still plenty of ways to increase efficiency within the office. Tek Buyz is a custom designer for network services. Networking allows offices to link PCs and Macintosh computer system to one another and share information without a worker having to leave a work station. At Tek Buyz we can design a low-cost, effective networking system guaranteed to increase productivity and efficiency within your office. Our staff includes a Certified Novell Engineer (CNE)and Microsoft MCSE.

IN-HOUSE WEB HOSTING

We manage and handle of web services in house, which includes site and email services. None of our web and email services are handle by any third party. So security it our number one issue and our staff of Web Service Engineer manages the web service 24/7. We serve our own SSL Certificates and none of the customer information can be accessed by non-authorize staff. Staff who has access to customer information are in a securied room (camera and DVR monitored) and staff is routinely searched for any data loss. None of customers information will be shared with anyone, that includes emails. Our don't worry policies is always in affect when it comes to our customers.
